BENDING instead of BREAKING

The opening of the exhibition “Bending instead of breaking – processes of change” will be on Sunday, 04.09.2022, Atelier Neues Tor, Sauerstraße 17, 32657 Lemgo, Germany

“Bending instead of breaking – processes of change” is the result of artistic examination of materials, perception, ways of looking at things and the resulting questioning. The sculptures are created in a formal language of material contradiction. The characteristics of the deformation of metal is translated into sculptures made of stone. Perceptual patterns of the viewer are broken through and rearranged. A new tolerance of form emerges. The diversity of life and the resulting processes of change are the core theme of the concept.

The international active sculptor Roland Höft, invites on Sunday, 04.09.2022 from 12 – 17 clock in his studio Neues Tor to the opening. Other opening hours of the exhibition (end 18.09.2022) fr – so 16- 18 clock.
